As human beings, one should recognize the importance of total success and happiness, each and everyone of us working towards achieving our different goals of life. It is not greedy that one looks for success, it is just that one lives better when successful instead of being a total failure. Be geared and motivated to move forward so as to learn from mistakes and failures. I used to share with my friends that there is no such word as failure, it is actually just 'yet to succeed!'
