In the event Madrid was forced to accept second place in Jose Mourinho's first year as the coach but it is far from the disaster many people paint. What in almost any other year would have taken Real Madrid to a victory just isn't good enough at the moment, with a Barça side so dominant that their opposition must start each match fearing the worst.
